Career Overview: Paul has 25 years of experience working as an accountant in public practice on the Sunshine Coast. He became Director of Thomas Business Accountants in 2002.
Paul is a registered Tax Agent, Financial Planner and Authorised Representative of Politis Investment Strategies Pty Ltd (AFSL No. 253125). So whether you are seeking to minimise your tax, deal with a difficult accounting transaction or plan your retirement Paul is well qualified to provide practical and sound advice.
Outside of work Paul loves to spend time with family and, whenever he can, surfing the pristine waves of the Sunshine Coast.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting & Finance), MBA, Dip Financial Planning, Member Institute of Public Accountants.
Career overview: Andrew started out in corporate accounting then went on to spend 13 years in marketing management. After moving to Sunshine Coast in 2006 Andrew has returned to his accounting roots, working in public practice.
Registered Tax Agent, Financial Planner and Authorised Representative of Politis Investment Strategies Pty Ltd (AFSL No. 253125). Andrew is able to view a business from multiple perspectives and is well placed to provide strategic business insight. He is also qualified to give advice in retirement planning, wealth management and superannuation.
Outside of work Andrew is a committed family man spending time with his wife and two children. He enjoys cycling, sailing and a keen interest in classic cars.
Qualifications: Master of Commerce (Professional Accounting & Finance), CPA
Career Overview: Selina has been in public accounting since 2008 and has developed her expertise in the area of superannuation and SMSF.
Outside work: Selina enjoys spending time with her husband and two children here on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Selina is fluent in Mandarin and enjoys reading and travel, especially to her homeland of China.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Accounting, CPA and Associate of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
Sharon has many years of experience working in Public practice and Government based accounting roles. She specialises in the preparation of Financial Statements and Tax Returns for Companies, Trusts, Partnerships and Individuals.
Outside work: A native of England, Sharon moved to Australia with her family in 2008 and very much enjoys living on the Sunshine Coast. When she is not busy renovating her house she loves to spend her time with family and walking her dogs on the beach.
Qualifications: Bachelor of Accounting, Provisional member of Chartered Accountants Australia.
Career Overview: Adriane has been working as a tax accountant for 4 years and is experienced in the preparation of Company, trust, sole trader and individual tax returns.
Outside work: Adriane spends much of her leisure time enjoying the great outdoors. She does significant volunteer work with the Police Citizens Youth Club (PCYC) and is a qualified instructor and mentor with the Duke of Edinburgh Award programme. If you need to brush up your skills mountain biking, repelling down a rock face, or if you’re just plain lost in the bush, Adriane is very handy to have around.
Qualifications: Certificate IV in Accounting & Bookkeeping, Registered BAS agent and Xero certified.
Career Overview: Felicity has spent more than 15 years in the real estate and business sales industry working in administration, office management and as a Financial Controller. She has twice been a finalist in the Sunshine Coast Young Manager of the Year awards. She is a very competent and experienced bookkeeper.
Outside work: Felicity is another one of our staff members who loves to enjoy the outdoors and all that SE Queensland has to offer. She particularly enjoys camping, fishing and hiking with her son.
Career Overview: Cassie started her working career in banking and customer service. She has quickly moved into her role as our Receptionist and Administrative Assistant. Amongst her many duties, Cassie manages our ASIC corporate secretarial services and business name registrations.
Outside work: Cassie loves spending time with her family and friends. She enjoys reading Sherlock Holmes novels and watching Tim Burton films. She is a keen drawer and can speak basic German.
